Do you consider yourself a plant parent, but struggle to keep your green friends thriving? Perhaps you’ve experienced the heartbreak of a drooping Monstera or the mysterious demise of a succulent you were sure you hadn’t overwatered. You aren’t alone. Even the most seasoned gardeners can find indoor plant care a bit of a guessing game. Sunlight, soil moisture, and humidity levels change with the seasons, making it difficult to know exactly what your plants need and when they need it.
That is exactly why we are so excited about our latest giveaway! We have partnered with the innovators at Willow to give away two Willow Starter Packs to two lucky readers. If you want to take the guesswork out of gardening and turn your home into a lush, indoor jungle, this is the competition for you.
What is Willow?
Willow is a revolutionary smart plant care system designed to help you understand your plants on a deeper level. Think of it as a translator for your greenery. The system uses sleek, unobtrusive sensors that you place directly into the soil of your favorite houseplants.
These sensors monitor the four most critical elements of plant health:
- Moisture: No more sticking your finger in the dirt and guessing if it’s “damp enough”.
- Light: Ensure your plants are getting the right intensity of sun without getting scorched.
- Temperature: Keep your tropical plants away from chilly drafts.
- Humidity: Perfect for those finicky ferns that crave moisture in the air.
The data is synced to the Willow app on your smartphone, which alerts you the moment your plant needs attention. Whether it’s time for a drink or a move to a brighter window, Willow tells you exactly what to do. It’s like having a professional horticulturist living in your pocket!
Does it actually work? We put it to the test!
Before we decided to host this giveaway, we wanted to see if Willow lived up to the hype. We spent several weeks testing the system with a particularly puzzling Bird of Paradise.
We were incredibly impressed by how user-friendly the app is and how much it changed our relationship with our plants. No more anxiety watering! You can read our full, deep-dive experience in our detailed Willow review here. We cover everything from the setup process to how the alerts helped not just save our Bird of Paradise, but help it thrive!
What’s in the Starter Pack?
The Willow Starter Pack is the perfect entry point for any indoor gardener. Each winner will receive:
- The Willow hub: The brain of the operation that connects your sensors to your Wi-Fi.
- A Willow sensor: To monitor your most prized plants.
- Access to the Willow app: Featuring a vast database of plant species and tailored care instructions.
