Our Fav Celebrity Beauty Secrets

We love Instagram for many reasons. It provides endless inspiration from motivational quotations to interior re-design projects. But we especially love the insight into our fav celebrities’ lives. As the saying goes, sharing is caring and it’s no holds barred when it comes to giving us insight into the tricks of the trade; after years of style and beauty advice, they share their favourites on a daily basis. We’ve picked out the best of the bunch.

Drew Barrymore

Drews Instagram is full of her beauty insights. Earlier this year, as part of #BeautyJunkieWeek Drew shared tons of insights into natural remedies that she tried herself and her favourite beauty products ranging from £5 upwards.

We particularly love her advice when it comes to Aloe Vera (from natural skincare to soothing cuts, scraps and burns) and using Evian facial mist as a way to create natural waves and curls.

#beautyjunkieweek OK I know this says it’s for the face, but I use it on hair. It literally has that perfect atomizer that distributes perfectly for waves and curls. Almost like the diffuser on your hair dryer. It can give the hair gentle beachy waves when minimally sprayed on dry hair. And then walk away! Just let it do it’s thing. It will softly separate your stands and give a mild texture. OR you can go to town. Spray a bunch in and scrunch the hair with your hands or dry with a diffuser for lots of kinky fun curl. I also use it on my daughters when they wake up with “fairy hair”. It is gentle and doesn’t leave it heavy or gummy like detanglers can. It’s great for my girls with the wet brush or a mason Pierson type of bristle. I don’t know about you, but my kids are not physched about hair brushing. It’s more like crawling into a Lions den. So thank you Evian! I can do what I need to do with me and myself and the girls thanks to you. I bet you are dope on the face too! @flowerbeauty @ultabeauty @walmart

Sarah Chapman

Celebrity facialist Sarah Chapman is world-renowned for her incredible skincare range that really deliver results. Her Skinesis profile not only talks about the targeted product range but she shares plenty of tips and tricks to help you achieve your desired results.

We particularly love her double cleanse tip. She recommends an oil-based cleanser to balance oil production and either use the same cleanser to achieve a deeper clean or another product to target other skin concerns such as a cleanser designed to pull impurities out.

Lea Michele

The Glee star is always sharing her diet, fitness, fashion and beauty insights with us, particularly on her stories. In addition to her daily stories’ posts, she’ll regular post content featuring the hashtag of her book #BrunetteAmbition following similar themes as well as posting under #WellnessWednesday. Her content is really inspiring, and you get some great, simple recipes and advice too.

We’re grateful to her for sharing her in-flight beauty musts recently. Just goes to show that even celebrities aren’t immune to the effects of jet-lag and the poor air conditioning/circulation/ventilation.
