Hot ginger tea

As we’re in the throes of the cold and flu season, our ginger tea recipe can really help to alleviate your symptoms. You’ll get the medicinal benefits from ginger, with a good splash of fresh lemon juice to provide a boost of vitamin C, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.¬† This is a perfect immune booster and certainly one to keep on hand when you’re feeling a little run down. It’s also super simple to make.

All you need:

  • 1tsp of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 1tsp of honey
  • Hot water

Add one teaspoon of freshly grated root ginger to your favourite mug, along with the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey. Top up with boiling water and voila!

Let it stand for ten minutes before drinking and enjoy.
