You’ll get the medicinal benefits from ginger, with a good splash of fresh lemon juice to provide a boost of vitamin C, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. This is a perfect immune booster and certainly one to keep on hand when you’re feeling a little run down. It’s also super simple to make.
All you need:
- 1tsp of fresh ginger
- 1/2 a lemon
- 1tsp of honey
- Hot water
Add one teaspoon of freshly grated root ginger to your favourite mug, along with the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey. Top up with boiling water and voila!
Let it stand for ten minutes before drinking and enjoy.
