This year Father’s Day falls on the 16th of June. So, I thought you might all enjoy a few gift ideas to help you to make your dad feel loved and appreciated, on that special day.

Some new clothes

Top of the list is new clothes. Men, in general, take a lot of pride in their appearance, so a new pair of jeans or a nice shirt is usually a welcome gift. Tracksuits are very on trend, this year. There are several cuts available, which makes it easier for you to find something that will suit your dad.

tracksuit

The fact that you can split a tracksuit into two parts is particularly good news. It opens up the opportunity for your dad to create two or three outfits using the tracksuit you bought him. For example, a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and a tracksuit top. The bottoms are ideal for pottering around the house, or for walking the dog.

Clothing vouchers

If you are not sure what size they are or are not sure what style your dad likes, buy a voucher instead. Provided you buy one that is from your dad’s favorite clothing retailer he will know that you have put some thought into his gift.

Male grooming products

Gone are the days when a man’s grooming kit consisted of a razor, soap and, shampoo. Most men now follow a skin care routine and use a range of products to get their hair and beard looking just right.

So, male grooming products can make excellent gifts. If this idea appeals to you for a gift idea, take a look at the male grooming treatments that are sure to inspire- there are nine excellent grooming related gift ideas there.

Tickets to an event

Tickets for a show, sporting event or concert are ideal gifts for dads. The more relevant they are to his interests, passions and, hobbies the better. Just be careful to buy your tickets from a legitimate source. Take care to avoid being scammed when buying tickets as a gift.

An experience gift

Experience related gifts are a great way of showing your dad you know him well and value him. It does not matter whether your dad is into motor racing or cooking you can find something for him. You could buy him a racing driving course or the chance to cook alongside his favorite local chef. Or, maybe something that will enable him to enjoy a new experience. For example, take a hot air balloon ride. The list of possibilities is endless. Again, be careful to buy from trusted sources and check how long the tickets are valid for.

A piece of jewellery

If you have the budget for it, a new watch or ring can make a really special father’s day gift. For something like this clubbing together with your siblings may be an option.

Tech-related gifts

Most men like their gadgets, so tech-related gifts are usually well received. It could be the latest video game or an app voucher. Or, you could buy him a new Kindle or a smart home gadget that will make his life easier.

Whatever you decide to buy your Dad, just make sure that it is as personal to him as possible. Generic gifts will be welcome. But, the more obvious it is that you have spent time selecting the perfect gift for him, the happier he will be.
