Fitness: Updating your Kit for Winter

During the winter months, we’ll generally be working out in the dark. So, if you’re a keen runner or cyclist that likes to hit the pavements around where you live, you’ll need to update your kit for winter to ensure you’ll be seen by passers-by.

Additionally, as it gets colder, you’ll need a few extra items to help keep you warm on the cold, dark nights.

Below you’ll find our essentials for working out in the winter.

Winter fitness kit

Karrimor Reflective Jacket to keep you warm, dry and seen!

Reflective strips– you can iron these on to your existing kit

Jogging tights– made to keep you warm even on the coldest of days ensuring you can still get your workout, whatever the weather

Beanie hat – you’ll really notice the cold on your head and ears when out running in the winter, this will keep you nice and snug without overheating

Hand sanitizer – there are a lot of colds that circulate this time of year. If you’re heading to the gym, be sure to keep your hands fresh to keep colds at bay

Bottle belt bag – be sure to have water on hand and in your zip, carry a small torch in case you lose your way and a personal attack alarm in case you need to call for help.
