There are little changes you can make in your daily/weekly routines that can help you to feel more comfortable and confident in your own skin. Epsom salt bath


Take a weekly, 20-minute Epsom salt bath. Epsom salts, found in most local chemist and health food stores, have a number of health benefits. They aid in reducing inflammation, easing muscle aches, draw out toxins, smooth and soften the skin, and aid in absorption of key nutrients from foods to name a few. Use one cup in your bath, sit back, relax and let them do all the work.

Most people own one, they just don’t know what to do with it and if you don’t own one, you should!

Before bathing or showering, work the brush in a circular motion from your feet upwards towards the heart. It removes dead skin cells, improves circulation, stimulates the lymphatic system and the process of toxin removal. It’s particularly effective on the thighs where it can help mobilise fat cells and break down cellulite. This teamed with improved circulation will give skin a more firm and smoother look and feel.

Exfoliating daily

You can gently exfoliate the skin with a muslin cloth (face) or vegetable sponge (body) on a daily basis. This will help to deeply cleanse the skin, refine pores, aid in preventing ingrown hairs, give your skin an instant healthy glow and will ensure the products you follow up with will be used more effectively.

After your daily shower, you should spend a couple of minutes working a moisturizer or serum into the skin. This simple technique alone, above all others will help revitalize your skin. Always start from the legs and work in an upwards, circular motion. Pay particular attention to areas of concern, such as the stomach, thighs, bum, hips and arms, making sure to work the product into the deeper levels of the skin.
