Stocking Fillers under £10

Bath fizzes

I adore these Joules bath fizzes, they smell heavenly, packaged beautifully and sit sweetly in the bathroom. As a part of the 3 for 2 range in Boots I usually treat myself with these delightful bath treats AND add them to my own wish list.

I love… Body collection available at Primark. They look scrumptious, are great for the skin and from only £2, super light on the purse strings. This collection is an ideal stocking filler and/or packaged gift for a friend or loved one.

Allbeauty.com are fantastic for stocking fillers and gifts under Make up brushes£10. Make-up brushes are always a great present, they need replacing eventually and, let’s be honest, you can never have enough. A simple set but includes everything you, or your loved one could poss310297_Christmas 2014_Reindeer Hollow Shapeibly need. I highly recommend looking at the allbeauty.com Christmas Shop whether for other stocking filler ideas or for the main event gift it can make your Christmas shopping nice and easy and is bound to ensure you win the coveted gift giver of the year!

Chocolate always goes down a treat and there is no better treat than Hotel Chocolat. There is a great selection of Christmas goodies; advent calendars, Christmas decorations, secret santa gifts, chocolates for the little ones, selectors and blocks which are perfect stocking fillers, mulled wine for gatherings and larger more indulgent treats perfect for couples. Your likely to find 3 for 2 offers too so spread the chocolate love!

Hot water bottleA hot water bottle is an ideal stocking filler; nothing says Christmas and snug quite like this Nordic designed bottle from John Lewis. Perfect to warm the bed before sliding under the covers on the cold, winter nights. Mug

Temptation Gifts is a hidden gem for all gifting occasions. It is a website host to many brands and with some of the best prices around. There are gifts for all ages and tastes. I particularly like the East of India range, Yankee Candles and Cath Kidston

Of course no stocking is complete without a tangerine (was this just a tradition in my house or your house too?) and of course you need a stocking. StockingYou could always create your own with a pillowcase, felt, glitter and fabric pens OR you can shop around. I particularly like the offerings at John Lewis and Not on the High Street– the image is from Not on the High Street. There are so many different designs to choose from but you really want something that will fit with the overall aesthetic of your Christmas home decor; so make sure you know stocking is fitting with your Christmas theme/colour scheme. You could also look at getting it personalised. Sew Good Embroidery are based in Weston super Mare and highly recommended.

Gifts £10-£50

Jo MaloneJo Malone gifts, from £22, are the perfect gift for the mother in your life; whether the mother of your children (pay attention lads), of you, your grandmother or a friend in need of a pamper. Beautifully presented (that’s also the wrapping taken care of!), it’s the promise of ‘me’ time that all will be taken care of and the luxury that Jo Malone exhumes shows that no expense is spared for those you love. The Harvey Nichols store in Bristol are offering complimentary engraving for a customised cologne or candle; the event is Tuesday 18th November, 5:30pm-9:30pm.

Wicked will arrive to Bristol in February why not plan a date night for Christmas gift. Get tickets to the show with an upgrade for a champagne package and organise for a meal out before the show starts. Wicked, a hugely successful West End production, is the story of the witches of Oz. Based on the outstanding performances I’ve seen at The Hippodrome, you really will have a very enjoyable night. Tickets are priced from £22.Chocolate Wine

For the wine and chocolate lover in your life, this gift is a must! It’s a smooth, indulgent wine that is a perfect after dinner treat. It’s available at The Wine Shop in Winscombe for £10.99 and comes beautifully in a gift box. If like me, you like to take your Christmas host/hostess a bottle of something as a thank you/to accompany dinner, then I highly recommend paying a visit to Kelli at The Wine Shop who can help you find the perfect bottle to gift. Wine isn’t their offering; they can assist with selecting an assortment of spirits. Moreover, they host a number of wine tasting evenings so if you’re interested in learning more about wine and champagne why not book in for a tasting evening at the shop; you could even use your new skills at the Christmas balls and parties you attend this year.

Fragrance is a perfect gift but it is not something to take a chance on. When it comes to buying fragrance purchase something you know she loves (and has tried on her skin), it may be something she already uses. With fragrance it is all about what is smells like on skin because it is very likely to smell very different on someone than in a sample. If you know what she likes then go with a gift set; it’s usually better value for money and the accompanying products (usually shower gel and/or moisturiser) obviously compliment each other but can actually improve the longevity of the perfume scent. I particularly like allbeauty.com and boots.com for such sets.

Gifts £50-£100

Heart ring

Laura Gravestock Jewellery. Displaying Written Tiny Heart ring (£45) and WrittenBracelet Personalised Bracelet (£100). Laura Gravestock Jewellery is handcrafted, delicate and chic.

For the ultimate indulge, you cannot go wrong with Elemis Frangipani body collection. It smells divine, nourishing for the skin (makes skin soft Frangipaniand supple) and I don’t think I am taking it too far by saying nourishing for the soul! What’s more, you can get this set on special offer from Time To Spa for just £36.00 (normally £54.50).  Tip: the body oil when cold is solid, before application it will require warming up. To do so, whilst indulging in the bath, leave the  bottle in the sink full of hot water so it is ready to use when ready to apply.

CashmereHow about something cashmere. It’s luxurious, super soft and keep you nice and warm through winter. When well looked after it can last a lifetime. I like the neutral tones of this jumper from John Lewis as it will go with absolutely everything and can carry you through to Spring! They have a great selection of other jumpers, scarfs and gloves, take a look.

Gifts £100+Fossil Watch

Jacqueline Fossil Watch, John Lewis, £105

A watch is a timeless (excuse the pun) gift, the ultimate accessory. Fossil watches are beautifully crafted and excellent quality. This watch, in tan, will compliment every outfit and style.

Michael KorsThis Michael Kors bag is a must have for the handbag lover in your life. Available in 4 colours from John Lewis, this timeless classic can be worn in a multitude of ways and is sure to compliment most, if not all, outfits (if opting for a more conservative colour such as black) but everyone loves a pop of colour.

For the hot drink lover. It’s easy to use, and this product means you can enjoy allCoffee machine your favourite brands; Costa, Cadbury, Carte Noir, Twinnings at home but all in barista flair  What’s more its self cleaning (who doesn’t love that!) can be enjoyed by all and makes you look like the coffee connoisseur when people come for tea. At only £99 (this excludes the discs to make the hot drinks so if you buy the machine make sure you get the coffee/drink of choice to go with it!).

Aqua-Sana-Longleat-FootspaNow, something you can both enjoy; a spa day at Center Parcs, Aqua Sana. Book this for the New Year when Christmas seems months ago and Spring is taking forever to come round, when work is dull and your in need of a break. You know the time, late Jan/early Feb time. You’ll both be grateful of this one.

A common Christmas gift from most men is pajamas and/or dressing gowns; this is NOT, I repeat, NOT a Christmas gift. I am not saying it is wrong to gift pajamas and/or dressing gowns, rather, try it from a different perspective this year- make it a gift for Christmas Eve. When the final preparations for Christmas morning are complete, the children are fast asleep, sit in the firelight or soft candlelight glow and present your loved ones with a new pajamas set. We all love enjoying a present early and what’s more appropriate then a new, clean, fresh pair of pajamas (I highly recommend washing them first!). It’s great to start your Christmas morning in something new, soft, comfortable and feeling like you’re taken care of too. I’m personally a sucker for Calvin Klein pj’s; they are soft and super durable and if you head to Clark’s Village you can get a fantastic deal.
