Any aspect of a sunkissed glow is long gone and we’re at the stage when winter is at its harshest; our skin is drying out from the clashes of cold air and central heating, colds have left our skin looking wan and sensitive and nothing seems to brighten our complexion.
Although we’ve got the fake tan and bronzer option- though personally I’d avoid this route as it can highlight any inconsistencies extravagantly- let’s look at the products that can give us a more authentic, healthy glow.
For the cheeks– on top of your favourite foundation, swipe Benefit Watt’s Up across the cheekbones and blend in with the sponge. Go over with your favourite blusher (though we’d recommend a pink tone) to finish. It’ll catch the light and make it look like you’re sparkling.
For the eyes– if you suffer with dark circles, and this time of year is relentless in making them stand out, then go over your concealer with Yves St Laurent’s Touche Eclat. The best thing about this is it actually reflects light, making your eyes brighter! Tip: Number 1 is good for most skin tones, if you’re unsure, try it out at your local counter before buying.
